Licence and fitness to drive

Test vehicle hire approval

Pupils must hold a valid UK provisional licence and meet statutory eyesight requirements. Sessions cannot proceed if a pupil appears impaired or unfit to drive safely.

Using the TopDog training car for DVSA practical tests at Telford test centre is subject to instructor sign-off that test-standard competence has been achieved.

Learners must provide at least 48 hours notice to reschedule or cancel any lesson. Cancellations made inside this window remain chargeable at full session rates.

Payments, block bookings, and cabin conduct

Individual driving sessions are payable prior to or at the start of each lesson. Prepaid block packages must be completed within six months of purchase date. Any agreed refund on unused prepaid hours is calculated pro-rata after deducting completed lessons at standard single-hour pricing.

All TopDog vehicles are maintained to a high standard, fully insured, and non-smoking environments. In keeping with our calm cabin philosophy, aggressive conduct, abusive language, or reckless driving will terminate the lesson immediately without refund.
